Congratulations Cajuns!
Bummer of an ending to the series. Great game, your guys had a lot of composure at the end.

Good luck tomorrow against the panthers. I will be pulling for you guys.

I will be a Cajun fan tomorrow for sure. I want and ole SBC foe to win this thing not some upstart like Georgia State. Nothing personal just we have battled the Cajuns over many years, I am going to miss the games against USA, ULL, ASU and UALR for sure. 03-weeping

I am pulling for Ga. State just because I think they would get a higher seed in the NCAAs and have the best chance to make noise in the NCAA tourney.

Wait. I thought GaSt had been in the SBC before and left. So does that make them an upstart? Or am I thinking of another school.

NOt all WKU fans agree, haha....We should have moved the court from Hot Springs to New Orleans...BUt hey the Cajuns, not bad for a softball school04-cheers! You guys have a future NBA pg, we do not and we do not have a shot blocker, difference in the game..YOur NBA Player took over the game....Good luck tom. Cajuns, will be pulling for you and what an end to the series, only fitting it ended the way it did...

it means he wasn't shooting fts

If Western had to lose I would rather go out losing to UL-L than any other conference school but the sting will last a while. Great crowd for both teams today.

over the 47 game series the margin is 3 points a game and some really great games...today was another one of those. Maybe not great play I can't say that with the key miss fts by Western but still exciting. I know one thing the SBC should trade mark The "funbelt conference" seems like 75% of the tourney games are one basket games just about every year.

GSU surprised me with the number of fans they had today on the team side of the cort they had as many as ASU.

wish i COULD SAY A NIGHT out drinking would make this ending feel better...

I don;t drink :(

_______________________________________

To the UTA fan that asked what happen at that game....

drunk students and a usher that high five one of the drunks after he threw/spit up in a cup and and threw it on the WKU drinking cups. Not only that but racial comments to a few of the WKU players. It was bad enough to influence how I felt about your fanbase. I guess it shouldn't have because 99% were great...it's that 1% that gets noticed. There's another open thread where I will say how great your area is.

Yeah we used to be in the Sun Belt...but we're an "upstart" to WKU fans because they view is as a "flash in a pan."

May be an upstart in football but we were a founding member of this conference in basketball.

We think nothing of the sort. We think that your coach will never be hired away, none of your players will ever graduate, and you will overtake UK in national championships by the next century. How's that?
