Seems like ole benson is working on something

Quote:"It is not carried in Atlanta."

How is that even an option? What the heck was the point in adding Georgia State?

Didn't say it was but that he was working on something.

I get Peachtree TV, 182 times a year. I only get it on Sportsouth when the boys are playing.

Seems like something you don't say to the media unless it's the avenue you're most likely to take or that something is already in the works.

RE: CSS Sports closing on June 1st
Just speaking from my experiences CSS was a channel I did not get. So to me anything is better. I've seen more of New Mexico State than I have of my own team ( on one of the fox sports regional affiliates even though I live in Georgia.). All I was noting is that at this time they can explore some avenues to get games on TV. Georgia state was blacked out in my area for the most part. In fact most belt games were except the Texas teams.

Still think you do an 11am Saturday broadcast and try to syndicate to local tv and cable.

Belt needs to get in touch with Nile Sports Group out of Kansas City. They are the ones who do the MVC package for FSN and ESPN. Essentially the Valley buys the time from the networks but gets it back in advertising.

The weirdness that is the modern tv contract. Can't use WatchESPN on my iPad because of the blackout but can use it on phone on cellular network. I've got my phone connected to TV because it's ahead of Sun Belt stream.

Forgot to turn off notifications so I get breaking alerts like baseball scores and who has done a four square check in at the top of the screen. :)

That's the only possibility other than ESPN

I keep forgetting so many SBC teams are in central time. 11am wat? Not a fan of noon games, but if it was on a national station and on a saturday it would be ok once a year. Right now GS has scheduled all games to be at 6pm (unless TV times change this).

With the SEC ditching it's syndicated games, I think there is a real opportunity right now.

SEC fans know the 11:21 AM Central Time kickoffs well - that is the syndication package that died this year that ultimately goes back to Jefferson-Pilot Sports in the 1980s (if not the 1970s).

Sun Belt should get a lot of games on the SEC Network as many OOC games are played between the two.
