Georgia Southern (15-2) opens SOCON play at Elon (11-6).

App State (4-13) travels to Charleston, SC for games against Michigan, Kent State, and College of Charleston.

If the Tourney goes the way many think it will, there might be 15 people at that Georgia State/WKU game Sunday.

I'll be shocked if UTA doesn't get swept.

ASU plays UALR tomorrow at the same time in baseball and basketball. I'm skipping the basketball game and watching baseball. Don't think I can stomach watching another loss to UALR in basketball. If they beat us in Baseball it would be frustrating, but not near as annoying at this point in the year.

yes, we dont look very good this year..I thought we were going to be a little better. on offense we cant hit any team's good pitchers and we are evidently thin at pitching..we have some players that are good on defense like mclemore, but cant hit consistently at this level..right now a couple of guys are getting all the hits. SWT looks pretty good and you may be right about a sweep..kind of a bummer. I looked forward to basketball and baseball because we dont have a football team and then we have been a letdown in both so far.

Don't get so down. We're in a bit of a slump. Anything can happen. (As I recall 2010 and 2012)

2 run HR and an asinine error by our 2b brings the Mavs closer @ 7-5 top 8th, 2 outs. In comes our over-used closer.

One of those easy pop ups just off the dirt behind 2B and he misses it.

Yeah, there was no bitterness in that statement at all. Uh uh.

ASU beats UALR 3-0 in the conference opener. The game was over in 2 hours 10 minutes flat and was much less dramatic than the basketball game.

David Owen makes his Friday debut and throws 7 shutout innings to move to 3-0 on the year.
