2014 FOOTBALL OOC CONF BREAKDOWN
Assuming I counted right from the football helmet schedule and did not mess up any realignment changes from 13-14 this is what I got.

SEC - 9 games
FCS - 9 games
ACC - 6 games
MWC - 5 games
Coosa - 4 games
MAC - 3 games
IND - 3 games All Navy AAC 2015
Big 10 - 2 games
AAC - 1 games
Pac 12 - 1 game

Looks like the Sun Belt will once again play more or as many SEC regular season games than any other conference. I am conflicted on this as I think would rather see a winnable home and home with another G-5 or lower tier P-5 or two for one with a good P-5 than a more likely loss for a little more money. Although, I hear if you pull off an upset against a traditional SEC power it will get you a little media attention. 02-13-banana

We need to go undefeated in the games against G5 programs and steal at least two or three games from the P5 programs. That would put us at 28-15 OOC, which would be flat out awesome. More than likely we will end up around 23-20.

Probably not going to happen we just need to win one more than the other G-5's and steal one or two P-5 games and we will be in the running for the best G-5 again. It will depend on how well the AAC does in their P-5 games whether or not the rest of the G-5's have a chance. Not losing any FCS games or limiting it to just one or two at most upsets at most will be a boost from last year. (6-4)

Did not see any major scary games but Liberty, Montana State and Cal Poly are not going to be push overs.

RE: 2014 FOOTBALL OOC CONF BREAKDOWN
Texas State has OOC with:
Illinois Big 10-1
Tulsa AAC-1
Ark-PB FCS-1
Navy Independent?

Does Georgia Southern count as FCS transitional? Could be 2 FCS?

Navy will be AAC and both App and GSU will count as FBS and Sun Belt members next year. We are eligible to be named conference champions just not bowl eligible.

I would be happy with 2-2. With the losses being competitive and not blow outs.

I would be happy with 3-1 only if it is a nail biter. We only lost to Navy by 3 (with their supposed Heisman-quality QB) on our second game under Monken. No reason we shouldn't beat them now.

I would almost rather go 2-2 with losses to Navy and NCState if we can take down GT. But, I'm a Southern fan, so I'm expecting 4-0 and taking the #2 spot in the state.

It was obvious their QB was not in the realm of being Heisman worthy and Navy has slid since PJ left so it is not like we played a PJ led navy team. We will rightly be under dogs to Tech and NC State. Regardless of the results at NC State last year they are at full BCS level schollie depth and this will be the second year under this coach and offense. They had a very solid recruiting class this year, they will likely be much improved.

Here is Idaho's OOC Schedule:
Florida (SEC) - Away
Western Michigan (MAC) - Home
Ohio University (MAC) - Away
SDSU (MWC) - Away

If we go 2-2 on these, I will be happy. We only have 5 home games this year. But, except the Florida "money game" I think the rest are home and home arrangements. So, I hope to see some more OC opponents at home in the future.
What I really have my eye on however, is that matchup of UL- L v. Boise St. I hope to see Louisiana get that upset.

If app is back or close to being back to old form liberty should get dunked and hard

Me and some other Vandals buds have that exact idea. I live in Boise so it should be easy enough. BSU fans are atrocious - they will give no respect to a SBC team. It can be intimidating to play them in Boise, but they are beatable now. 5 losses last year and Coach Pete is gone. I truly believe the Cajuns can come in and suprise them.

The change Chris Peterson -> Bryan Harsin doesn't sound too bad for them really. Hate to say but would think it will make them even tougher.

It can be intimidating to play them in Boise, but they are beatable now. 5 losses last year and Coach Pete is gone. I truly believe the Cajuns can come in and suprise them.

Am I the only one who thinks it shouldn't be hard for UL-L to beat Boise?

I'm thinking their new HC will have them ready, or at least not surprised by what the Cajuns field.
