25 games vs. G5/FCS and 18 games from P5.

Just win the 25 games and get a few of the 18 games and it would be a great year.

Don't lose any of the 9 FCS games.

You need to try to make that game....see the Cajuns in person and cheer them on to victory.04-cheers

Me and some other Vandals buds have that exact idea. I live in Boise so it should be easy enough. BSU fans are atrocious - they will give no respect to a SBC team. It can be intimidating to play them in Boise, but they are beatable now. 5 losses last year and Coach Pete is gone. I truly believe the Cajuns can come in and suprise them.

Am I the only one who thinks it shouldn't be hard for UL-L to beat Boise?

That depends on what Louisiana team shows up. The team that manhandled stAte, WKU for 3 quarters and played a perfect game against Texas St. Or the team that showed up in Arkansas and Kansas St. Well K-State we didn't really play horribly except in special teams where we essentially gave them 21 points.

I would say that we will be a 7.5-10 point dog in that game.

Does Georgia Southern count as FCS transitional? Could be 2 FCS?

With better QB play I can easily see a 3-1 OOC record.

Navy
GaTech
Sav St
NC State

I would be happy with 2-2. With the losses being competitive and not blow outs.

The change Chris Peterson -> Bryan Harsin doesn't sound too bad for them really. Hate to say but would think it will make them even tougher.

No way should ULL feel intimidated at all. The worst the Cajuns should be is a "Pick em". ULL is probably better
and should go into the game with that attitude. Harsin can be outcoached as well.

No way I can believe that Harsin is better than Chris Peterson. Maybe, but Harsin needs to prove himself first. It's debatable whether he should get too much credit for stAte being bowl eligible again last year, or whether that was the prior successful coaches (and talent) they already had. I'll let the stAte fans decide that one.
But, Chris Peterson is who build BSU to the program it is today. However, they seem to have had a drop in talent last couple of years(mostly QB) and thus less wins. I think the Cajuns are totally capable of knocking them off, its just that they are going to have to do that on the road in Boise, which we all know is a bit tougher. Blue turf takes some getting used to. Cajuns need to be confident and have a chip on their shoulder.
I'll be there to cheer on the Cajuns....04-cheers

Blue turf is a gimmick for a team that doesn't have a real home field advantage, app doesn't need that to have a one sided home win to loss record
