Cowboys are idiots for letting him go... They were not very good before. Now it could be a train wreck.

Old Folks Home. Guy is WAY over rated, now if the Saints can just get him, then of course he is in the prime of his career. LOL.
I suspect the Falcons get him, tout him their fix, and go 14-2 and 1&1 in playoffs.

OT... Demarcus Ware
They had to let him go with the salary cap. Cowboys are way over. Jones sucks cause he signs too many huge contracts, usually with pay delays and it's catching up to him.

Except for the fact they were under the cap when they released him. They didn't have to, and when D-ware signed his contract were you like, "awe man that guy sucks we are overpaying him..." I don't think so.

Maybe he can spend more time with Troy. We could sure use some of that money he has.

RE: OT... Demarcus Ware
I wish Ware took a paycut to stay with the Cowboys but he chose not to. Dallas did the right thing by him and cut him at the start of free agency when they could have waited until after the draft or until the season started. I'll miss 94 but he was all talk this year and couldn't stay healthy the last two.

RE: OT... Demarcus Ware
Not to mention the number of restructures he has taken to help the team over the years and the attention he gets when other teams are game planning. Sorry as you can tell I am not to happy about this move.

RE: OT... Demarcus Ware
Restructures are great for the player, not the team. He got paid more guaranteed money and just had regular money turned into a signing bonus. He never lost a cent during a restructure.

What do you mean restructures are not good for the team? How do you think the team creates cap space to add or pay players? I didn't mean to imply that Ware was getting screwed over just that without him being cooperative with his restructures we don't have Carr and/or Romo.

When someone gets a straight up restructure, they have their basic salary converted to guaranteed money. For cap purposes, guaranteed money is spread over the remaining years of the contract or five years, whichever is less. So if someone like Tony Romo had a $12.1 million base salary for 2014 and 5+ years left on his deal, the Cowboys can (and did) take that base salary, convert it to the league minimum and spread the rest out over the next five years (2014 - 2018) and save about $10 million in 2014. Now that made him more expensive to cut in future years (by about $2 million per year) as guaranteed money stays against the salary cap if someone is cut, traded, or retires. But for the player, in this case Romo, he now gets more of his salary guaranteed.
Now I'm not a wordsmith so this website can explain it a whole lot better than I just did. http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2014/3/4/...15-minutes
Hope this was helpful!

Agreed. Diehard Cowboys fan here but he had to go if he wouldn't take a cut. Harsh reality of the NFL today.
