ASU chokes away another one. Losing on an Efried Petyon Three with 11 seconds left 77-76. Had a 7 point lead with two minutes left, but didn't play any defense, and missed two free throws in the final minute.

Assuming South finishes off UTA...this is a great draw for Troy. They won at both UALR and ASU this year, and both teams will be coming into the tourney flat.

How about because you won 2 of your last 3, both by large margins, and because you gave Georgia State their only conference loss? There's a lot to be said for momentum going into the tournament. We'll see.

Yes they do, but they have beaten that team twice this year, assuming UL wins it's first game. Either way WKU plays a team that has played two games and tired, or one game and is not rested.

WKU's Fant owns UL's Long in head to head match ups in two consecutive seasons. What evidence have you that a rested Fant will not do so again?

True. But we have had ugly losses too.... If you catch Troy on a good day we can beat anyone in this conference as we have shown. Hopefully that team comes to play.

Well unless I misread your comments the next WKU game is tournament, and they would play either UL, or the winner of the first round. I added my opinion on why WKU might be fully confident they will play GSU because they have every reason to think they will beat us, or whoever that first round winner is.

You guys know that GSU is going to lose to UALR or Troy in the Semifinals right? Its the Sun Belt way.

The original poster is obviously fully confident that they will play GSU and he may be right, though history has shown that it's often tough to beat any team in basketball 3 times in a single season. I have no idea how WKU performed against the two teams facing off in Game 2.

What I do know is that the WKU team was much more 'erratic' play-wise this past year than I've seen them in years past (losing games they seemed to have no buiness losing) and for that reason I think it'd be wise for everyone involved to take it one game at a time.
