That observation mirrors my view at this point. Every time I look at the schedule and think, "that'll be an easy W for the Toppers", you guys seem to struggle. And it seems you struggle more at home than on the road.

No excuses indeed. Losing that one at home is tough.

Yep will miss you guys too, always enjoyed the USA series...tonight was probably the most lopsided game ever in the last 10 years..ALso congrats on your series advantage of 34 to 32, not many program in the SB can say that..Well no one can say besides you guys...

Looks like we're about to take that double digit loss I expected.

The last few years have been terrible for USA in terms of the series history. You guys have owned us lately. Thank goodness we squeaked this one out! And maybe one day we find ourselves in the same conference again! You were good conference mates!

Its not humanly possible for our team to win back to back road games. Outside of the Texas swing to open league play, it's not been done.

really wanted to tie this series up. but a ton of the losses came when we first moved in the sunbelt and we were overmatched talentwise.

as good as the ga state backcourt is (and they are very good) junie lewis and robert hodge would have made them carry their equipment bags to the bus then go fetch them sandwiches for the ride.

I wonder if that first half was the worst half in Topper basketball since the 50's. 14% and 14 points is the lowest I remember in my 40+ years of following WKU hoops.

Well if UTA beats them and home and then draws the Toppers in the tourney and win too, they can say that.

But then there's also reality to deal with.
