I never said the fear was justified or sensible.

But it's the only thing I can think of.

Georgia State has a tough closing stretch that includes three road games in five days. They'd rather have first locked up before hitting that stretch.

Oh...I agree, but I can understand what they are thinking, knowing they will have to play road games at Texas State, and at UTA and ASU, the only two teams to challenge them at home this year in a 5 day stretch.

Basically, they want the freedom to know that if they lost one of those, they would still be able to have a comfortable lead in the league standings and clinch the guaranteed NIT berth at worst.

Why could'nt UALR played this good against Georgia State the other night you would've pinned a loss on them. 52% vs 39% from the floor and 70% vs 14% from behind the arc and Hagins plays like Alan Iverson. 04-jawdrop

Big difference in the two games was playing will neighbor hurt. In the wku game we benched him for a player that could move.

That forced the defense to defend 3 scorers not just two, imo.

Wow no one shows up at the scene of an accident to gawk like you do. Classless. See you in Little Rock.

I get on every team in this conference with poor attendance. I'm harder on ASU than I am any other. The question is real though...how on earth do you give up a shot that wide open. Even ESPN questioned it when they ran a highlight of it last night.

ualr failed to turn the player with the ball one time, then the defender slipped.

Stuff happens....

I am I pissed to have lost 2nd place like that?

Yes but now we have to finish 3rd to play wku again in the semi's.

I honestly don't think anyone in the league has better talent than us than gs st and there is no reason that we can't make the finals other than poor coaching, which steve is perfectly cable of doing.

I think for ASU, we'll be disappointed with anything other than an NCAA berth. Tired of losing games, especially with as down as the league is this year. Hence the comments you get out of ASU fans after every loss. I'll probably go on a rant when WKU beats us tomorrow. Its just how it is right now.

We feel the same way. It is time for steve to produce.

Brady aint going to produce. I just knew he would when asu got him but having watched him for a while he is no more than steve north version.

He's too comfortable. He's said it himself that he wants to live in Jonesboro once he retires, and I think until that point he's comfortable winning just enough to not get any unwanted attention all the while making 350K per year.

He's got us to the top half of the SBC as expected, but the pressure to make the NCAA's just is not there.
