Spring Game Attendance
How many people do y'all expect at your spring games?

With the new offense and stadium construction going on I expect a lot of people to come check things out. I think 5k+ would be a fair estimate. Last year I think we had in the 2-3k range.

Our highest ever was in 2006 the first time we ditched the flexbone, everyone came out to look at the new offense.

RE: Spring Game Attendance
We had 4,600 at the game last year. Not sure how it will be this year. The AD isn't the best at promoting things.

Charlotte had almost 15,000 last year...but it was our first one. I expect about half that this year. I only expected 7,000 last year though, so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised again.

Wow. That's still pretty impressive for a spring game.

Spring Game Attendance
Our date has not been set yet.

Does everyone here have a Spring Game? I didn't know if it was standard with everyone.

Actually, I was wrong, 13,900 was official attendance. Still pretty solid though.

Here are a few pictures from last year's.

Like I said, I don't expect nearly that many this year. I'd be happy with half.

I believe we'll have an announcement of the game date this week or next.

Perhaps it'll be announced tomorrow at our Signing Day event.

I'll add that the 49'ers have a very nice looking stadium and campus from what you can see in those pictures.

Wouldn't mind a home and home with you guys soon.

Our AD doesn't keep track of exact numbers.... If I had to guess since I was at last years game I would guess somewhere between 5-8k

First I've heard of that. Too bad it didn't happen.

RE: Spring Game Attendance
Has anyone's Spring Game date been announced yet? It would be awesome if the conference could organize to have all 11 teams game on the same day and turn it into a media thing through ESPN.

Obviously wishful thinking....but would be pretty cool.

15,300 seated. The most we're allowed in due to fire code is 16,630. We have a large concourse, so we have a lot of space for people to stand and watch the game.

Basketball and/or baseball helps too. The summer months are the worst, but at least you can fill those days with vacations and outdoor activities.

For people that don't like basketball or baseball...I really feel bad for them this time of year.

We were scheduled to visit them in 2015.

Granted this was all worked out when we were both FCS. They announced FBS first and didn't want any part of losing to us while we were still FCS.

Spring Game Attendance
I feel confident Georgia Southern will set a spring game attendance record, but probably still less than 7,500. There are a lot of reasons fans are going to want to show up this season, new endzone building, new upper deck on the stadium, new offense, new coach.

Baseball is fun, but it needs to end in August.

You don't need 162 games to determine the best team. Especially when it can come down to a single wild card play-in game.

I'm not expecting the deck or the building to be done in time for the Spring Game.
