This was a trap game all the way. We are good enough to beat just about anybody, but we are not good enough to just coast through games. Their 3's really hurt us.

Oh boy! What a huge loss.

We're good enough not to have any reason in the world to lose to a team that bad AT HOME

For some reason we are the team (football/basketball) that winless teams seem to win against some how.
Oh well, on to Tuesday. Good game fellas, learn from it and bounce back.

Shooting has been off all season.

ECU is not the worst team in the conference. They shot well against us. It's by no means a good loss, but we have to get past this mindset of being better than teams before the games start.

One of the worst losses in UAB history losing to this ECU team. They aren't good and not SJ or anyone will convince me otherwise. If it were on the road it would be one thing. But not at home.

Officiating terrible but it's up to our team to take the officials out of the game and we didn't.

Doesn't really matter from an at large stand point. We have to win the tournament to make it to the NCAAs. That was pretty much true regardless of this game.

We were a ten point favorite. We were definitely better. I could see us losing to them on the road, but at home is inexcuseable

This team is not as good as you think it is. We didn't come to play because we saw a winless team in conference, and it bit us in the ass. Until we get rid of that mindset, we are going to continue to lose games like this, no matter where they are being played.

We played best when we were aggressive.

Well another stinker of a game.

ECU is not the worst team, but they were 0-6 coming in.

Even an NIT team wouldn't lose to this ECU team at home.

Their best win of the season was a team with a 200-something RPI

I agree that we're not as good as we all think... As I've said before, the games against UNC and New Mexico, both with inflated rankings, got our hopes up too high for this season. Today definitely was bad tho.

ECU has now won 5 of the last 6 against UAB. That doesn't sit well at all. UAB basketball has fallen on rough times.
