Word on the street
WOTS is that a key player will be leaving the program. Still through the grapevine at this time, but I heard that the individual in question wanted to be closer to home.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this snowy Monday 03-hissyfit

Is this our monthly "Jaime Wilson is transferring" post?

No but close. Colin scoops everyone. I heard he was "thinking" of leaving, this is surprising.

RE: Word on the street
I would be really disappointed if he left... Maybe his recovery isn't going as well. I see he tweeted a response to a question about being ready for spring with a "idk". This was a week ago.

Just letting you know what I heard directly from the mouth of what I would consider a very reputable source.

Now we will be debating who-what is or isn't a "reliable source."

If we're talking WRs, besides Jaime Wilson, looks like only Braverman and Keith are what I'd consider "far from home."

Wide receiver is where they could afford someone leaving.

I was really hoping to see a tandem of Wilson and Davis this year... I hope its just talk right now... and the coaches really coddle him a bit and get his mind back on the game and not worried so much about home...

Wilson would have to sit. Two years off in a row is a bad idea. It is not Wilson.

Yep. Unless he opts for FCS in his home state: Florida A&M, Bethune-Cookman, Jacksonville or Stetson. Only B-C has sniffed the playoffs recently. That is, if it is Wilson, but perhaps not.

Yeah. That would be a terrible choice as well. Kid has Antonio Brown potential.

The ND kid (Ferguson) is also from south Florida, so there's the homesickness potential. But that'd be the same situation as Wilson: Sit for a 2nd consecutive year or pick an FCS or Div II.

I hate to see you guys squirm like this, but I can't release the name of the player yet. Not until it's official. And at that point you'll see it reported by the usual sources anyway...

RE: Word on the street
Could be Braverman... he's a Florida kid too...

My guess... and this is CLEARLY speculation... is that it IS Jaime Wilson, and his recovery isn't going as well as he had hoped and that the likelihood of coming back strong this year would be minimum... taking another year to recover might actually line up with his injury status and give him time to catch on with another Div1 program (my guess is Florida). Clearly... again... my guess.

I would be shocked if it was Wilson.
