Questionable Rating Changes
Recent discussions on how player ratings seem to magically change after a player rejects P5 schools for G5 schools.

Case in point is Jabe Burgess, see link below. He signed with Tulsa after rejecting Illinois's offer on 1/13/14. If you scroll down the right side of the page you noticed that on his Ranking History chart shows a dramatic 24/7 drop exactly the same date. BTW, if you scroll up slightly you see that he has a pretty good skill ratings chart.

Here is the conspiracy part of the ratings. Take a look at the Deandre Murray link below. He committed to Tulsa earlier yet if you look at his Ranking History, he chart numbers nose-dive at the exact same time that Jabe Burgess's numbers did. Coincidence? I think not.

I was looking into new member Tulsa to see what they bring to the table. They have some nice classes and including a stud (6'6', 260, runs 4.60 40) in Dalton Rodriguez who last year signed with Tulsa over Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Arizona. I guess Tulsa can hold their own.

Same thing happens to ECU. I'm sure we'd see it's happening to our conference brethren if one were to take to time to look into it.

BTW, yes Tulsa will compete in football in the AAC. They've got a solid program deserving of respect. Anyone doubts that is kidding themselves. We've had some good games with Tulsa over the past few years and I'm sure that trend will continue. I'm looking forward to continuing our budding rivalry in the AAC. I have no doubts Tulsa will be back.

I don't think anyone is taking them lightly. They beat us twice last year (though we gave the second one away with some poor ST decision-making).

Exactly. Tulsa just had a bad year. It happens. There is no reason to think they are going to be a cellar dweller.

RE: Questionable Rating Changes
It's all a racket.

Kevin Mouhon is a kid UC is after. Tennessee commit and a 4 star 90 with 247.

He visits UC last week and on Thursday he officially decommits from Tennessee...word is is coming to UC to play with his brother and will announce on NSD.

Today 247 changed his rating to a 3 star 89. Lot of football been played the last 2 months.

The national ratings guys are shills.

Teddy Bridgewater was a 5* when commited to Miami Hurricanes but dropped to 4* when He commited to Louisville. May be the NO.1 NFL pick. I say who cares what the H.S. star ratings are. the Studs will appear when the Helmets come on. Your 4* player thats now rated 3* will just go about ripping heads off just like before. They just won't see it coming.
