He's not liked enough to be a HC at Troy. He does ok as a OC. West alabama did consider him as their new HC but couldn't pay him enough to pull him away from Troy

Some of his play calling has been suspect at times

I could also say the SBC has a winning record against CUSA the last few years but what does that have to do with Clark?

For Clark it's about what is better for him and his family. If that's making more money at Uab or Troy or staying put at JSU he will do so.

He's a championship caliber HC, and not a wannabe assistant like the guy who just left.

For whatever its worth, Clark did a really good job at USA. Our team stunk our first year in FBS. Our defense was on the field a lot because our offense blew. The team was short manned too. That didn't stop Clark's squad from filling the holes on the depth chart and making the defense work.

Everything I hear about him makes me like him.

i think clark would be a good hire, he doesnt have a big reputation and is actually trying to build up his career

Are you in the know or just speculating?

They've asked the administration of other prospects. I now doubt he is in the running.

Do they have to ask permission to speak to assistants or is it just head coaches.
