I forgot about Stockstill and him refusing to vote for ASU even after the beat down we gave him.

My money is on Joey Jones. He sang the Cajuns praises all year.

Thanks ManzanoWolf, I'm sure Hudspeth voted for his team. It will be interesting to see how many votes the Cajuns receive pre-season this year with 19 starters returning.

One vote is better then no votes. Hopefully this translate into some preseason love. Not sure what your schedule starts out with next season, but hopefully you can get a few wins in before the money games. And when you get to those money games, thank them nicely by beating them.

Only one game that anyone would consider a money game, is at Ole Miss. The other out of conference road game is at Boise State, which is not nearly the unbeatable team they were in recent years with Harsin as the new HC and a new quarterback. I like our chances against them with 19 starters returning and a healthy Broadway.

Home contest include Southern and Louisiana Tech out of conference, so he is set up to have another good or special season. Its on him and his staff.

RE: Louisiana Cajuns in Final Coaches Poll
List of the 62 coaches who vote in the coaches poll: The USA TODAY Sports football coaches poll is conducted weekly throughout the regular season using a panel of head coaches at FBS schools. The panel is chosen by random draw, conference by conference plus independents, from a pool of coaches who have indicated to the American Football Coaches Association their willingness to participate. Each coach submits a Top 25 with a first-place vote worth 25 points, second place 24, and so on down to one point for 25th.

Now who could have voted for the Cajuns to give them that 1 point; Tommy Bowden because UL beat his Zips; Les Miles because he just loves anything Cajun or Bryan Harsin to give the Cajuns a nice parting gift, maybe even Curtis Johnson for a nice friendly Bowl game. who knows?.

ULL could pull off that special season next year. It sets up perfectly as long as Hud doesn't jump ship in the next couple weeks. Good luck, except for one game. 04-cheers

I was just curious if a Coach could vote for his own team. If so, a Coach could put their team at #1 and receive 25 points. It just don't seem right, i don't know. I was curious if anyone knew.
