I don't really like to make comments on rape because you simply never know. I was using it as an example of how much ESPN pumps him up to everyone. He really thinks he is something special. ESPN is ill preparing him for life in the NFL.

I suppose it is unfair for me to be so certain but I see a lot more evidence against then for, but I agree he doesn't know what it is to lose while in the national spotlight, obviously, and considering he doesn't seem to be able to speak an intelligent word in every interview he may not be as well liked if he goes to a bad team and he can't pull them out of it on his own

He reminds me a lot of Cam Newton a few years ago...but Newton spent a lot of time in the NFL working at learning how to be a leader at that level.

He goes in to the NFL with his Scthick now, and he'll be put in his place quick. What worries me is that he still has another year for ESPN to really push him.

You make it obvious that not everyone can view a game objectively and form an opinion, you sir have a lot more in common with crazy ass bama fans than I ever will. You are an example that ludicrous bull**** extends at the very least to Lafayette Louisiana.

Just wait till Winston loses his first game. He will be pointing fingers at his team mates and they will turn on him.

Yea I don't mind either, then they ask him questions, then I turn the channel, my parents went to UCF and my grands down there went to Florida pretty much a good year for me personally as I root for UCF and root for the other two just because of geographic region, I'm weird like that and support states instead of other things, though I do dislike the sec more and more

One of the first things he said when FSU won was, "Wow that was one of the greatest seasons in SEC history no matter the outcome of this game." He couldn't even bring himself to talk about FSU. Of course they covered themselves by saying FSU was built like a SEC team at the start of the game.

ESPN bias is sad. Its almost like they love SEC because they got their network and the PAC 12, Big 12, and Big 10 choose other networks.

Big 10 officials handed the game to FSU. I have no dog in the hunt, other than the connection to the Auburn vet school, but FSU's offensive tackles were literally tackling both Auburn DE's on every play of the last drive without a holding call. Note that I am not saying the refs 'cheated' Auburn, only that FSU's coach understood that the holding call is completely foreign to the Big 10. Wish Hudspeth understood that better. We would have done much better offensively in the NO Bowl.

Calls went both ways. There were facemask and horsecoller calls against Auburn that wreen't made either.

Neither of those no calls affected the outcome of the game. They could have, but they didn't. I am certainly not arguing that the refs were either competent or biased. Only that they were typical Big 10 refs.

There were missed calls all night on both sides. You can't say that since they were missed early that they had any more effect than the ones missed late. They change the game. I didn't have a dog in this fight. I don't care for Winston, but I was ready to see the SEC reign come to an end.

True. FSU still got TDs on those drives. But those were the ones I remember at the end cause I was hoping they wouldn't bite FSU in the butt.

It was a fun game to watch. Playoffs next year are going to be fun I think. OU proved that Alabama isn't a shoe in for a title, Michigan St looked great too.

Funny for some who are saying you root more for your homer SEC school than local school.....That applies minus the few hardcore fans each school has to every single Sun Belt school....Just look at USA when Alabama was on 4 hours later, haha....

i do understand the south al folks pulling for the gumps. they didn't have football until a few years ago. think about that 518.

football crazy state. you gonna grow up rooting for someone and land grant prolly gets more than anyone else. they have to grow their fans.

it's the troy gumps and the jax gumps that shouldn't be all up in that bammer set of nuts.

Amen to slowing down the SEC hype machine. I get tired of them automatically ending up in the "national championship" game every season. If there was a 16 team playoff I very seriously doubt a SEC team would've won that many in a row.
