UH dominant? Now who needs to take off the shades?

They finished ranked in the top 15 two years ago and won 8 games this season with a freshman QB and never playing in their home stadium...... they're going to be really good next year.

They also have a brand new stadium:

I'm going to enjoy checking out Houston's new stadium when Texas St plays there in 2015. Robertson was old but I liked it. I am intersted in seeing how this one comes together in the end.

And won 5 games last year and 5 games two years before that. And... wasn't Sumlin the coach when they hit the top 15?

So, while you can argue that they have potential... Dominant, they are most definitely not.

I don't think one team will dominate, but I think most Access Bowl bids will go to the AAC and MWC

I consider AAC an in between g4 and p5 conference personally, but they have that because they were a power conference presplit but still I would say they are a new grouping called m1 that being said there are a good number of teams in AAC that could be beat by g4 teams

The AAC has referred to themselves as a tweener conference.

I prefer taint.

It's cool...we don't want UL-L anyway.

The MAC did poorly 0-5

CUSA went .500
lose Tulane, Tulsa and East Carolina
add WKU and ODU

MWC went .500

AAC went 2-3
lose Louisville
They add Tulane, Tulsa and East Carolina

Does CUSA add UNCC as well next year?

It does look flat if the SBC does not add Bowl Tie ins.

Its flat period. Louisville to ACC. Who does that leave in the G5 that is dominant? UCF? That's TBD. Its any conference's game to win at this point.

Probably ECU.

You are probably right. MAC has had a couple good teams recently but CUSA and SB have to prove themselves. AAC and MWC will start with a ranked or close to ranked team. If the others can get one or two teams to have 1 or 2 loss seasons then they will have the advantage of starting high. I think UL has a shot but losing at the end of the year hurt.

Your fellow taints will be glad to hear that you've reached a decision.
