Harsin was a huge disappointment to me as program CEO, I will give him credit for finally having enough sense to quit calling plays.

I remember you guys wanting to hang after the loss to UL in Jonesboro. That didn't sound like blind trust to me sir.03-lmfao

What sorta retard would have blind trust in a coach after he's coached a few games?

Well, perhaps one that would put blind trust in a coach that hasn't coached one game yet in the head coach position? Just saying....

Weak.

Guy has a good resume, hiring a better qualified staff, has actual experience in an offense we've got the horses for.

Try to changing coaches every now and again. You got two choices look at what they are doing and have faith or pee down your leg in fear. So what'd you do when Hud was hired, keep clean drawers handy for 8 months?

LOL!!!Weak, but true. When Hud was named coach, I upped my financial support day one. As far as faith, he had to earn on it on the football field. I wasn't certain he could get the job done considering the culture that needed changing in our administration. I knew he had the tools to be a good coach, but no way did I or most predict he would come in and win right away. Too many years as a blind supporter of a losing football program will do that to you arkstfan.

So you took a leap of faith based on a best guess to trust Hud and increased your donation. Yet what you did is some alternate universe way different from what AState fans have done. You are trying to split a hair that doesn't exist.

I upped my donation when we hired Freeze. I'd seen him run the offense despite the shackles Roberts put on him. I'd seen him with the players fans and media. When Gus arrived I upped my donation again because of his well earned reputation. When Harsin arrived I upped my donation another $500 because my wife wanted to park in the lot immediately behind the press box.

Anderson's resume says he's a better fit than Harsin but the only way I'll up my donation will be if my parents make the decision that this is the year their health dictates they give up their tickets because I will have to go up at least $100 to qualify to take their tickets over.

I'm not sure what Anderson is yet and that was my point. Unlike Freeze or Malzahn, he has never been a HC at any level. I don't know if he will be successful or not, nothing is certain with any hire. Unlike Harsin, he doesn't come from a perennial BCS power like Texas. I think he is a notch below Chad Morris on most peoples list of potential new HC, but that doesn't mean he won't be successful at Arkansas State.

I'm just having a little fun with you guys. Good luck in the Go Daddy Bowl.04-rock
