Fiesta Siesta
With UCF most likely going to the Fiesta Bowl most fans will take a siesta on spending big dollars and not travel 2200 miles to see our team play in its first and last BCS bowl. It's still a great accomplishment but it's just too far and expensive. The Orange or Sugar would have been great.

"East coast teams that go to the Fiesta Bowl, usually lose money. Even Oklahoma lost money in 2011.

The Fiesta Bowl doesn't allow the team to return unsold tickets, so the team has to buy them."

"The team had to travel over 2,200 miles to the site of the game in Glendale, Ariz., and once there, the school was contractually obligated to spend eight days at a hotel of the Fiesta Bowl’s choosing and sell 17,500 tickets to the game. The school could not negotiate its hotel rates, and it was unable to sell most of the tickets it was required to sell, forcing the school to eat $2.9 million of unsold tickets.

In the end, UConn lost nearly $1.8 million at the game."
