It's more than I thought would be there.

RE: SMU closes North and East sides of Ford Stadium for UCF game
Hundreds of thousands are out of power... a travel warning in effect... every other event in town except the Dallas Stars Hockey Game has been cancelled (and the NHL has a rule if both teams are there, they play as long as there is power)... so the crowd shouldn't surprise anyone. There are more people than I thought would be there!

if it wasnt for the awful weather, would attendance be around 25,000?

15,000. Would probably be 25,000 if this were two years ago but the SMU community has been done with June for 2 years.

LOL he is doing the same thing he did when he left Hawaii. "They gave me an extension but I decided against it because they wouldn't give me a new practice field." He is gone.

Any early indications of who SMU would go interview to replace JJ?

Apparently when June was hired by/not hired by Arizona State in 2011, Chad Morris (Clemson OC) was who we were going after. 2 years later, Morris may have more options open to him, but he is a Texas guy and cut his teeth coaching Texas high school football. He was Gilbert's high school coach, coincidentally.

Nice, wish you guys much success. Oh by the way, big props to your groundcrew for getting that field into playing shape. It was still cold, but the field conditions were great. Tip of the cap.
