Like playing Thanksgiving Weekend?
We are now in something like the 4th year of the Big Ten ending the season on Thanksgiving weekend instead of the weekend before. What are your guys thoughts?

Personally, while I think ending the year earlier than most others didn't help, I still don't like the change. It was nice that the students got to go home for Thanksgiving. From the fan perspective, going to games this weekend is harder on a lot of people because of the holiday. From an Ohio State perspective, the move kind of hurt the jumping in Mirror Lake ritual before the Michigan game (was always on the Thursday before, which is clearly not possible anymore).

I'm not saying the conference shouldn't have done it. With TV doing what's its doing and layoffs before bowls not helping anything, it was probably the smart thing.

I'd rather everybody ended the week before Thanksgiving, and Thanksgiving weekend was CCG week for every conference with a CCG.

But it has to be all-in ~ no point the Big Ten being the odd one out, and putting themselves on the back foot in most Big Ten bowls where they are either the actual or de facto visitors.
