Going by what a couple of their fans have said...

Every fan claims this is going to be their best team ever. In the Sun Belt, ASU, USA, WKU, UL, and Georgia State fans have all made that claim this year alone.

Far from one of our best ever unfortunately. Hoping for a winning record this year with great class coming in next season.

I dare anyone to find a WKU fan who says this would be our best year ever. Possibly a good year? Yes. Maybe even a very good year? Yes. It'd be almost miraculous for WKU to have it's best year ever with this group. Of course, Ray Harper has been known to be a miracle worker, so ya never know.

I meant to qualify that with Best in a while. WKU fans have been predicting a league title this year pretty regularly.

WKU's had enough accomplishments as a basketball team that the best ever would be something crazy like Elite 8 type team. the rest of us would be thrilled with an NCAA tourney bid.

My disbelief was based on my knowledge of some ballerass teams under Bartow back in the day.

Yep. WKU and UAB had some awesome games in the mid 1980's when Jerome Mincy and Clarence Martin went to battle. Those were some of our best teams.

We seem to get down early... We got down to Ole Miss by a similar score. Then came back and made it a 8 point game in the 2nd half. I think we out scored them in them in the 2nd half
