UCF v Houston - Final play of the game, view from the field

This right here is why I take CFB over NFL all day every day. NFL has nothing on the passion exhibited by CFB fans.

One thing I noticed that I hadn't before, the AAC's best WR was nothing more than a decoy on that play. Can't say I agree with that.

How could Hall be a decoy when he wasn't even on the field? 02-13-banana

The killer was not completing the pass to Greenberry on the play before that. That was the play that was there for UH to make. Just a little bit better throw and this story would've had a different ending. That's how it goes.

So a midseason AAC third-teamer with essentially one-third of the output of Greenberry is the AAC's best WR?

Riiight. 01-wingedeagle

I'd listen to an argument about Devante Parker (even though he hasn't had as good a year on paper as many expected) or 1 of SMU's big 3, but this guy -- I had seriously never even heard of him.

UCF is fortunately 3-0 in their last 3 games vs Houston...as all of them were close games:

2009 at UCF: 37-32 (Houston was #12 in AP Poll, UH jumped out to a 10-0 lead...but UCF had a big 37-20 4th Q lead...only to see UH score two quick TD's in the final 4 mins of the game...but UH just ran out of time)

2010 at UH, Friday Night ESPN2: 40-33 (One of then Freshman QB Jeff Godfrey's better overall games...UCF jumps out to a 20-3 2nd Q lead...UH comes back and takes a 24-23 3rd Q lead...then Godfrey leads UCF on 3 TD's drive and another FG drive...and UCF wins 40-33.)

In the other 2 conf games UCF/UH have played (2005 and 2006), 2005 was a nailbiter...as UCF held on for a 31-29 win at the Citrus Bowl...while the 2006 game at UH was really the only one that didn't end up being that close (UH won going away 51-31).

UCF is 4-1 vs UH in conf play...which might be the best opposing conf record against UH since they joined CUSA in 05 and AAC in '13
