BCS Question
Does a 3 loss LSU team from the SEC stay ahead of both UCF and Louisville in the BCS?

Before the loss to Alabama they were way ahead at 13th in the BCS and Louisville and UCF 20th and 21st respectively. The human polls have LSU higher because of the media love affair with the SEC but LSU may drop out of the computer polls altogether after a 3rd loss.

LSU has beaten only one good team in Auburn and is the only team they beat with a winning record. One of the losses was to an okay but not fantastic Ole Miss team. It's not that great a resume.

No way of knowing. We will just have to see how the polls shake out.

FWIW, LSU's win over Auburn is the best win any of those teams have. And they have played a far tougher schedule.

You make a good point, the media does hype the sec. Funny thing is they're doing the hyping without being really objective. That's not to say that the sec isn't the best conference for football cause it is.

According to the latest BCS poll, the answer is yes.

I expect UCF and UL to be slightly ahead of LSU in the new BCS standings.

As of right now it is Projected that UCF will be ahead of LSU and Louisville which is as it should be...the Knights are legit..

UCF 17
UL 20
LSU 21

UCF certainly has earned. Hate to admit, but they have. Other than the game vs Memphis they should have lost, they haven't really played a bad game all year and they've played several good ones.

They should and could have lost to Memphis but they should have and could have beaten South Carolina...it evens out....

I wouldn't say we should have beaten SC. We staged a roaring comeback with time expiring just to get close to them. We lost that game in the 3rd quarter.

RE: BCS Question
Not saying we should have won against USC or that we're the better team or anything along those lines, but we did win 3 quarters of that game. Sure we made a furious comeback that made it look better, but we also led for the majority of the game.

Then again, 3 points the other way and we lose to Louisville or PSU. We've won a lot of games by a slim margin, Houston this weekend for instance.

RE: BCS Question
Is it me, but it seems that when I watch UCF they play 40 to 50 minutes of outstanding ball during each game I've seen. The other 10 to 20 minutes not so much. Am I seeing the games wrong? If not, what are the possible explanations?
