RE: OT: CUSA board Music thread (what are you listening to right now?)
Im glad you liked it. I really loved that Jedi mind tricks record, came out my sophomore year of high school. Visions of Gandhi is also good, released 3 years later in 2003.

I have a vivid memory of recording this verse. in the 23 years that we’ve been recording together, Stoupe (JMT Producer) never critiqued my vocals. i would do my **** in one take, he’d say, “good, good”, and we’d move on. the day that we did Animal Rap, he stopped the ADAT, and said, “look, man…we’re doing a joint with G. Rap, your favorite…

BUMP for old times' sake.
Guy still has IT. I didn't even know there was a music video yet so I guess now when I hear this on the radio it will ruin it. Oh well, sounds like a modern pop song that I won't feel guilty for liking because it's Beck. Rationalization, I know, but don't care.
Saw this guy in concert a few months ago, awesome show and has a killer band. Everything here is part of his live show, which I always think is impressive when you have loop and midi elements.
Alright, I've always had a soft spot for 311 but hated their last few releases. Their latest is pretty damn good. My favorite on the new record is a rocker:
