Artist: Carla Morrison
Album: Déjenme Llorar (won album of the year)
Cut: "Eres Tú"

Cosmica Records(USA)
This to me is an excellent example of a great song--and I don't even really understand the lyric. It's just a well-constructed song and melody intertwined and executed near-perfectly in the instrumentation and arrangement. These are often the hallmarks I look for in songs. A pleasure to listen to!
Carla Patricia Morrison Flores (Tecate, Baja California, July 19, 1986), better known as Carla Morrison, is a Mexican indie-pop singer and composer. She has won two Latin Grammys for her album, Déjenme Llorar, which has also been certified Gold in Mexico.[
Here's a link to a live perforance where you can see Carla and the band playing the instruments. Again, excellent, excellent job!

I got about 60% just listening to it and reading the lyrics. Then I used my Google-Fu on dem *****. Here ya go.
It's You
Today I woke up wanting to kiss you
I have a thirst to caress you
Entangle myself with you and not let you go
You're so intoxicating
It's you
I want to gaze at you without counting the minutes
Draw you with just my memories
In my mind accentuate your lips, your kisses
You're here once again
It's you
I love seeing you, having you, embracing you
When I'm at your side
All the goodness in me
Blossoms, it's you
That magnet of beautiful energy
It's your soul that sends
Signals to my body
Because it keeps on asking for that smell of you
That invites me lying in wait
It's you
We have different plans
But you're always on my mind
Since my veins so subtly
Enjoy loving you so much
It's you, it's you
It's you
Me again: I have a ton of Latin music. I love their music. (Who doesn't love people that use a whistle as an instrument). Good music is good music no matter the language. This one is beautiful. I listened to both versions. Thank you for sharing this.

pick your poison....one deals with the isolated....one deals with the whole....the poets....they are some'thing'....
"Stinkfist"
Something has to change.
Un-deniable dilemma.
Boredom's not a burden
Anyone should bear.
Constant over stimu-lation numbs me
but I would not want you
any other way.
It's not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said
I don't want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, To feel, to know I'm alive.
Finger deep within the borderline.
Show me that you love me and that we belong together.
Relax, turn around and take my hand.
I can help you change
Tired moments into pleasure.
Say the word and we'll be
Well upon our way.
Blend and balance
Pain and comfort
Deep within you
Till you will not want me any other way.
It's not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said
I don't want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, To feel, to know I'm alive.
Knuckle deep inside the borderline.
This may hurt a little but it's something you'll get used to.
Relax. Slip away.
Something kinda sad about
the way that things have come to be.
Desensitized to everything.
What became of subtlety?
How can it mean anything to me
If I really don't feel anything at all?
I'll keep digging
Till I feel something.
Elbow deep inside the borderline.
Show me that you love me and that we belong together.
Shoulder deep within the borderline.
Relax. Turn around and take my hand.

Most of my library comes from the 90's when I was travelling to C.A. A couple times per year.
This group was pretty big. And this video starts out combining 2 of my favorite things in Latin music. A strong drum line/percussion performance and as I alluded to earlier the ability to use a whistle as an instrument. You just know the guy playing the whistle is the poor kid in the barrio. All the other guys could scrape together instruments and he's like "yo, I got a whistle" and being Latinos and down for a good time his boys say "good enough".
