I really wish UC could cool it with the slow starts but I'm pleased with the overall showing on defense. Unfortunately I don't think it'll be enough to hang with the upper echelons of the conference but it is what it is. 3-5 really doesn't do SMU justice though - they're better than that, no question.

I agree. SMU is much more talented than their record. They could have won a couple more games easily.
