You say this as if they had been against it, it would not have happened. They were essentially trying to agree with the "Cool crowd" in hopes of inclusion. This is not a shot at you, but sometimes the revisionist history on here gets ridiculous, where people "suggest" something should have been done, that in reality could never fly, or would never work.

No problem. I'm simply saying that advocating for a post season (being apart of the cool crowd) was a great strategy. Was there any way to be against it? I fully admit that I don't know.

To be against it? Sure. Any impact if they were? No

I would think 4 million is probably the floor for the next renegotiation and Im hoping we end somewhere between 6-10 million per team with the same coverage. We will likely need those extra funds desperately once the NCAA meetings change the way money can be used in athletics next year.

I have to disagree here. Our top teams are playing the MAC and Sun Belt in the Miami Beach Bowl. I do not see our value as being at or near an order of magnitude higher than the teams with which we have the bulk of our bowl matchups.

They are? I thought our top team with either be in the access bowl, or one of the other 2-3 bowl games we have with P5 conferences. Believe the miami beach bowl will be for one of our lower level squads.
