Sometimes it amazes me how sensitive college football fan is sometimes. The same people that are getting mad at UCF confidence is probably the same guy that predicted us to win 56-0 vs USF

Ah too late on the first point. Some articles were written actually talking about how the team will prepare against Houston starting with watching the USF game and taking notes. Then comparing those to the actual film sessions for game week.

They'll be prepared. Luckily we're just fans and don't have to be as reserved as the players! It'll be a good game I think.

I'm hoping for a win. UCF is a dang good team veteran team that will be feeding off the crowd. I've been surprised at how our young boys thus far. I don't see a blow out unless things just go to the crapper. After last year, I'm just happy it seems we have righted the ship. All this other stuff is just gravy. Here is to a great not good but GREAT game!

I am not guaranteeing a victory for sure. Houston scares me plain and simple. Potent offense and a defense that has shown it can create turnovers. If we limit to 0 or 1 turnover I think we win by 2 TDs. If we commit 2-3 it'll be close. If we commit 4+ houston wins going away. I am just glad we get them at home.

BTW UCF is actually the second youngest team in the country- only 8 seniors

I think that games like these are great for the AAC. Makes me feel better about the future of the conference that two new AAC members are battling for the opportunity to go to a BCS bowl.

they said it during the USCe v UCF game. USCe is actually the youngest using this metic. Out of the 8 seniors, only 4 are in the 2 deep right now. If Blake doesn't go pro we return everyone but 3 guys on the o line and 1 wr.

I think we'll win, because it's a home game, we have a great offense, and our defense is good enough to at least cause Houston some issues, but it will be close. Probably a 6-10 point game.

UH has great team speed and a fast pace offense. UH defense seems to play soft and if a bad USF team can throw for over 300 yards on the road, can you imagine what an offense like UCF could do?

It will come down to UCF's defense, if they can force UH into a one dimensional game UCF wins.

I don't think of it as a rivalry game, and I have a feeling other UCF/UH fans here agree. We only played Houston four times in C-USA, going 3-1, and we never met in a championship game despite our two teams going 7 times combined. Tulsa is more of a rival, since we played them three times in the CUSA champ game. And that's a stretch.

We thought the same thing about UCF when Memphis almost dispatched of them. It is why they play the game.

I hope no one on UCF's team is getting cocky. We need them to stay focused. I'm glad this game is at home for UCF but anything could happen. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a blowout either way or a close game.

The game plan was very vanilla. Very little blitzing, DB's hardly played bump, not many down field throws compared to previous games, and the play calling depended on the run ALOT more this week. Late in the game we also diverted from our usual offense and ran clock, which you will not see Nov. 9th. Not saying we are going to kill you, or beat you, just that the team will like alot different come gameday.

Agree. As spread out as CUSA was, having any real rivalries was difficult enough within the divisions. I was doubly hard to have much of a rivalry with teams from the other division. No reflection on those schools---we just didn't really see them enough. That said, while there were no rivalries, there was plenty of respect for the schools that had good teams.

No I made a joke and you acted too cool for school over it? Classic. Good luck to your Coogs next week.

Oh ok....I can tell from your first post in response to me that you were joking in a good natured fashion with me....LOLOLOL sure dude...sure.

Ah did somebody's feelings get hurt? Here ya go.

Well now that whole "I made a joke" statement really doesn't ring hollow AT ALL! LOLOL BS much?
