Really just adding some humor as I really sick of you poo-pooing EVERY GSU MBB thread. For the love of all things holy. Its not that hard to realize that even at 15-16 we were 10-8 in an always difficult CAA. Those who actually SAW this team saw enough flashes of brilliance to realize that if mistakes are eliminated and these kids learn CRH's scheme that they have a high high ceiling. But every topic with you becomes a WKU is the greatest team in the SBC and not a mid major argument. At some point you have to realize that when 95% of people think differently either you are the possessor of some greater knowledge than mortal men or are wrong.

First off you need to learn to read for comprehension because no where will you see me shouting about how great Western is going to be. Not once have I down played the talent on this GSU team. As a matter of fact I've always respected the parts GSU has this year and coach Hunter.

This isn't the GSU board it's the SBC so if you or anyone post a topic it's not just about "you". My only comments in this topic is about using 2 totally different sets of data to argue the same same point when they are not connected in any way.

As a matter of fact I agreed with one set of the data...being young is a legit reason to be poor on defense. If that's "poo-pooing EVERY GSU MBB thread" then like I said go back to school and take a reading for comprehension class.

I don't have any problem with someone disagreeing with me but you seem to. I lay out my argument, most of the time based on the facts, as I see them, and on experience. If someone makes a good point I don't have a problem agreeing as I did in this topic. But I also don't have any problem pointing out something I don't agree with and show why.

But I guess you also missed the below comments I made in my first post?

"I hope GSU lives up to the hype and the other 4 or 5 top SBC teams do as well as expected from the people that know them best. No not the espns or yahoo or any rag...but their coaches and other SBC coaches.

Could be a very good year for the SBC"

So by using your own words the only thing I was poo-pooing on was the disagreement that 9 players that are no longer playing...didn't play last year and wont play this year will not have ANY bearings on how this years GSU team plays defense. Is that correct?

Surely you don't have any problem with me agreeing that being young is a reason to play poorly? And I don't see how you would think by me saying "I hope GSU lives up to the hype and the other 4 or 5 top SBC teams do as well as expected from the people that know them best. No not the espns or yahoo or any rag...but their coaches and other SBC coaches.

Could be a very good year for the SBC"
is "poo-pooing on GSU"

So what is your point again? Let me guess.........

I think we want to kick their can in football because He Who Shall Not Be Named is their coach. Other than that, meh.

...if only because of these threads. Expecting big things from him. Remember, he rolled into last season with no break between HS and the first game against Duke. This past Spring/Summer was his first break in a year and a half. Still played phenomenally.

Yeah, it's strictly because of these threads.

But, I also want to let others on this thread know that University of Georgia desperately wanted Harrow to transfer to their school. They could've used him too.lol But, he chose GSU despite probably being able to get the waiver there too because he would only be an hr away at UGA.

I did watch Georgia State lose to Georgia Southern, and there is no disputing that we sucked really bad....but in all seriousness I don't see why Georgia State wouldn't be on the rise. They are in Atlanta and have a good coach so there is no reason for them not to turn into a pretty good team.
