Congrats to the Cajuns
We didn't do anything to help ourselves, and you hammered us for it. Our young coach has a lot to learn. How many times did you guys run that same '15 yds and out' pass play?!?! I know of 2 first downs you earned on it.

But you did what you needed to do....and that's what champs do.

Congrats.

I was waiting for you, ho bag! Looks like it just might be our year. Just like you guys the two previous years, we feel good about our chances. Now, being a chronic sufferer of CDS ( Cajun Disaster Syndrome) I figure we will lose all the rest of our games.. :) The old adage, to be the best you have to beat the best held true tonight. best of luck the rest of the year!

Thanks hadn't seen you guys play this year. I figured your passing game would be better than it was tonight. Good luck the rest of the way but this thing is a long way from over. Yes we are in the drivers seat but any team can be beaten at any time.

Appreciated the friendly banter with you stAte guys this week. You are a true peer. We'll be rooting for you from here on out, but we do want you to drop another one along the way. Just one more.

RE: Congrats to the Cajuns
Hud did his homework. As I said on the radio in Lafayette, Harsin is trying to spread the field vertically rather than horizontally. That means longer developing routes and we just flat haven't recruited the offensive linemen needed to do that, nor have we recruited the linemen needed to play a straight run game between the tackles. When your offensive game plan is built around doing the things you aren't good at and not the things you've got the kids to run, bad things happen.

The Cajuns had the right game plan to stop our offense, John Thompson I thought did a bang up job with the defense and adjusted well. 48% of our two-deep on defense is freshmen and sophomores and really its equivalent of 50% because Frankie Jackson, a junior, moved to defense in the spring and is starting.

Agree with you man...game developed pretty much like I thought it would. You gave us trouble in the 2nd half with defensive adjustments....transition year for stAte but you will make another Bowl game and this race isn't over yet....ours to lose but that could happen....good luck the rest of the way

I remember when Malzahn left he had a pretty good recruiting class going and it imploded a bit. Might have something to do with the drop in talent on the lines. Skill positions you guys are pretty good...but on the lines it's night and day when you compare from last nights game. I know Hud has been recruiting straight beef. Harsin will come around. Once he gets the personnel he wants to run his offense...this is gonna be an epic battle.

Yeah, same OL. Different scheme.

Freeze signed one Juco DL and a TE who moved to DE and is really good. Malzahn signed good DL but most left or never made it to campus. We were left with solid first 4 on DL but little behind them.

RE: Congrats to the Cajuns
Congrats to the Cajuns. That was a complete slap down last night.

I hope our staff figures out how to better utilize the talent that we have in upcoming games. We have yet to get anything going this season.

You guys on the other hand seem to be rollin' like a big wheel.

Good luck the rest of the way.
