I'm not calling out Tuffguy...with a name like that, no one would....but why is it that you guys believe that your talent is better than ours?

I keep seeing that from you guys, and others...and just can't see what you guys are seeing. Feel free to enlighten me.

Louisiana vs stAte - The game is a tight hard game between the 2 all the way to the 4th quarter. Talent level is slightly on the edge for Louisiana, but stAte is still a champion until otherwise determined. Fueled by the home crowd, they keep this game in a shoot out, but the cajuns put up a late TD and the Wolves are not able to march down and respond. Cajuns win 34-28

As for RB's, I'd stack Gordon up against any of them....including our own Oku. I hope he's 100% and ready to go.

I just think that the cajuns have recruited very well the past few years, and the past 2 meetings, I think yall had a talent edge over us not to mention a better QB with Aplin being all everything. This year though, I feel that the cajuns have closed the gap as yall are retooling things up in Jonesboro with your new coach, new QB, and a lot of new faces on defense. We're a more veteran team than yall, and that gives us a slight edge in talent, something I don't think we did the past 2 years. That's all I was saying. Believe me, I won't disrespect a team that...yup, last years team just scored on us again.

Hello I'm rcajun90 and I'll be your hijacker today. The UL Ragin Cajuns have an awesome passing game and a stable of running backs second to none in the Belt. Our defense matured against WKU. You will lose tonight. Resistance is futile!

It will be a challenge. Our teams knows if they want to win the SBC outright they must win in Jonesboro. Although I didn't feel last week was a must win for us like this week is, it turned out was a blessing in disguise to beat WKU. The level of play and the mentality of the team have never been higher. They are not cocky but believe this is there year. The teams will both play hard but we do have lots of weapons this year. They all have played well and no one player to this point has had to do it all by their self. Looking for Ragin Cajuns 37 ASU 31. I hope both teams stay healthy and are able to go bowling at the end of the year.

There already is a matchup thread. A very respectful one at that. Why are you starting a new one?

Geez, Tuffguy said the teams are well-balanced, would be a tough game, but the Cajuns would prevail in the end.

What's to see? He's making a wild-ass guess like the rest of us.

I haven't been around here much lately....computer issues.....so I haven't caught all of the jawing.
I was in another thread that touched on this subject.

I need to use that quote in my signature.....if you don't mind.

Offended isn't quite the word for it, my friend. I just don't see the reasoning behind it.
I believe we have the best RB's, WR (as a whole) and QB in the conference.

Now, if you want to hit us where it hurts....go to the O-line against your D-line. Our line play has not been what I expected at all.

The folks who do the BCS standings seem to disagree with you generally. Cajuns at 39, stAte at 80.

While I don't see that much difference in the squads, I still think the Cajuns have an edge, which is basically what Tuffguy and others here have said.

I think the game tonight will decide where both teams are at this time. Your opinion like most, including Cajun fans has some homerism built in.

Corey Robinson is the best QB in the conference. We probably have the best WRs too. O-Line and RBs? Wouldn't say Troy is top three in those two categories. We need work there. They aren't bad though.

Corey is a fine QB, and has put up some numbers. But he hasn't faced any real competition yet, and produced those same numbers (i.e., really bad game at Ms St)....though, he had a good game against Duke.

I think there are several mismatches on the field.

I think the Cajuns have better lines.

I'll leave it at that because we don't want the WKU guys to lose it.
