I'm asking. Why. I get one year off rotation. Why two?

A lot can change from now till then. Add a new member in the mix and our schedules could totally change around.

SBC is doing a two-year rotation to keep the home-and-away balanced

With an off year in between; this is not the same premise. That was a necessity with the early departure of MTSU and FAU.

I'm not so sure about that. I think USA has a pretty good shot. WKU without the turnovers either wins or goes to the wire. This is the same group that lost by 20 to a weak Arkansas team. Now admittedly Louisiana is playing their best ball of the season and did dominate ASU but it's still early. They could pull away more from the pack but we will have to see. I am not ready to concede the title but they are looking like they sure want it more than anyone else.

WKU without the turnovers is not WKU.... That has been your DNA this year. What coulda been, shoulda been, is all very nice.... Cajuns with a crappy defense suffocates WKU...go figure...A whole lot of spinning history on this board today.

So it will all be very good for some of you guys when Troy, or ULM, or GaSt, or USA find the formula to break that lucky streak. Please somebody can you step up for poor WKU who is leaving for C USA next year where maybe they actually can win with tons of turnovers.

I just laugh that the Arkansas game still has any sort of relevance to the team we are fielding right now. We shouldn't have lost that game, but they were playing sky high because of the new season with their new coach, but even with that, if the Cajuns and Razorbacks met right now, I have no doubt the Cajuns would win.

RE: The second Half of the SBC…
I see Troy and USA as the most dangerous remaining teams for the Cajuns this season.....when a bunch of college kids get over-confident anything can happen on any given night..

ULM is not the team they were with the injuries. If that situation improves, then things might be different.

Troy comes in on a Thursday night. Off night for college football but I bet Cajun Field is near capacity for this one which will be on national TV. Having said that, if Troy is still in position to grab a bowl spot with only one conference loss at that point, knocking off the Cajuns would be a huge incentive for them. On the Cajuns' side of the ledger, defeating Troy will likely mean win No. 7 for the year and a New Orleans Bowl invite.

If all goes to plan, by the time the Cajuns roll into USA, they'll have that New Orleans Bowl invite in their back pockets. This is, of course, very dangerous especially if USA is playing for a possible bowl spot too.

All in all, fun season so far, that's for sure.

That suffocating defense gave up 471 yards to WKU. That's not what won the game. It was turnovers and the second half ground game which ate up quite a bit of time.

We lost to a weak Arkansas team has reared its ugly head again. One question if Arkansas is so weak and beat us but we beat you. What does that say about you and your so called good victories. You can woulda, coulda, shoulda all night bottom line is you didn't. If you feel that USA can beat us because of your own agenda just say it I can live with that better than making excuses. On the other hand if you feel they are better than us let us hear that logic. Not because of close games but give us facts. I'll be pulling for WKU,stAte and TxSt because they can help our cause not because I'm bitter.

I am beginning to think WKU will have a much easier time competing in CUSA next season in football...The countdown has begun, maybe we can win some games at home on a Tuesday night also next season...Nevermind would have to be Thursday night...

WKU is a fine institution and will be competitive no matter what conference you are in. I too feel that your football program will be very competitive in CUSA not because I'm trying to belittle the conference but because of the respect I have for your program in all sports. Good luck in CUSA just try not to take the SBC basketball championship with you.
