If he doesn't have that championship mindset, let him go. He should be hyped up for the Louisville game.

He's the kinda guy with the natural abilities but doesn't have the heart.

No it was near the international beer area not the pizza place.. hurry.

My point is not to mock a great corporate sponsor and community iemployer. I am saying Disney world is the happiest place on earth, if you can't be happy playing a sport in Orlando surrounded by beaches sun, coeds and theme parks, you probably should quit because you will never be happy. But since you took it as a dig I play along. Bonus.

Obviously you've never played the game at a high school or higher level. Football is not a game to these people. It LITERALLY runs your life. I can see this guy (and may athletes, for that matter) making it too college thinking "God, I hope it is a lower pressure environment away from my parents and this high school coach I hate", only to find out it wasn't the coach you hated, but the sport itself. Well, not the sport that happens between the lines on Saturdays, but every other moment of practice, weight training, seeing your friends going to the beach or Disney for the weekend while you can't, etc.

Well, then do you agree with the rest of my post? That some kids get to college and find out it was more restrictive a life than they thought it would be.

I always laugh when some random person tells somebody else why they should be happy. Maybe the kid just didn't enjoy the sport.

Who the heck are you to tell him what should and shouldn't make him happy with his life?

Sure. But I think in this case he probably has another reason and will end up playing football somewhere else. Family resposiblities and money issues tend to weigh more heavily in the mix than no longer loving a sport. I mean he is living in Orlando how rough can the life style be that you can not take some two a days and a coach in your ear. I AM SURE THE KID HAS A GOOD REASON, JUST NOT THE ONE GIVEN. Even George O'Leary hinted at that himself.
It is not my business in any way, if his grandma is knocked up orbhis girlfriend has cancer whatever that is his business there are lots of great reasons we have no right to know. I just don't buy this reason.

Family and team said it was a "personal decision" for him to leave the program.

No clue how one wouldn't "buy" that reason....and just like thousands of other college kids (athletes/students a like) that never make it through their Freshmen year away from home...most leave without publicly stating why...because most of their decisions are personal, i.e. private.

The only speculation really known is a personal issue at home. GOL knows at least that much and knows more but he stated he can't get into it in his weekly presser for the UL game. Took him by shock, but it is something going on at home.

Actually the reason given was that he "No longer loved football". George O'Leary said he believed it was personal reasons.
