No I didn't really get into football until I was in college. Hell I played football in HS and never watched it (and I know realize I had no idea what I was doing). I do my best to learn history, but I cannot give you any contemporary perspective on the subject from that time.

Basically I am at times one of those guys you are talking about. Except I know that you cannot use stats to tell the story of a game you did not see, then or now. I mean people talk about the Louisville Sugar Bowl game versus Florida and how they dominated the game. If you watched the game that is exactly what you saw. Ten years from now someone is going to look at the box score and ask what all of the fuss was about.

Will there be any need of expansion when strong and jurich go to Austin?

gawd I can't wait for UofL to come down to earth...I'd say it will be fun to give em crap but 99% of them will vanish back under the rocks they were hiding under during Kragthorpe years.
