Can't wait to see you guys in two weeks, USF. You all normally give us fits in Tampa.

Thanks. I think that has been the big improvement since the start of season. Have the offense stop shooting itself on the foot and let the defense win the game.

That is impressive!
That is crazy, congrats to USF. Says a lot about the Bulls' defense and the AAC.

There are a lot of ways to win a football game.

RE: USF at UCONN game thread
Good job USF! I really like how this team is responding after that abysmal start. ESpin was calling USF the worst team in the country two weeks ago! You heard it here first, USF will not have a losing record in conference play. USF goes at least 4-4 in conference.

This team could have fallen apart after the horrible start, horrible QB situation and new coach. Instead it has hung together and learned to win ugly tough games something we lacked past few years.
I'm very proud of them.

So am I. I admit that if three weeks ago someone had said we'd beat Cincy and UConn, I'd have asked them if they had taken their meds ...

RE: USF at UCONN game thread
True freshman QB for UConn in his first game. Things will get better ... someday.
We had 37,000+ (capacity 40,000) with a team that's 0-5, the worst start since 1991. Not a bad crowd.

This can be put on pause....
Congats to USF for the win and to UCONN for the crowd that attended the game, both help improve the image of the conference....

RE: USF at UCONN game thread
I feel a bit for UConn, but better days are coming. Need a new coach. As for USF, boy these are ugly wins with no offensive TDs... but we've lost so many ugly games, I'll definitely take winning a few. Hope Bench and Shaw come back healthy. I'm really glad CWT got a few wins as I fear what might have happened if we went 0-12. I really think he's the guy, but it's going to take a few years. White at QB next year (or a much improved Bench), and we'll make a bowl game. Baby steps.
