Looking at the replay of the tag at home in the top of the 10th, I'd say the Dodgers got robbed. You have to tag the man with the ball, or the glove holding the ball. Tagging a man with your arm doesn't count...

Saw the same thing, but baseball is notorious for the "if the ball beats you there, its an out" mentality. Half of the double plays turned have the SS/2B only in the vicinity of second base before throwing to first.

I will always decry such things. But I know the rules, and always applied them to the letter when I umpired. My father was the same way as an ump, and as the home official scorer for the Charleston Charlies. He would have been complaining almost non-stop during that game. I could point out dozens of instances where they failed to make the right call, if they made the call at all. I saw a balk not called, and a couple of non-double plays in the game, as well as the wrong call that screwed the Dodgers...
