Every defense has a weakness. Rutgers has some fantastic wide outs as does ucf. But at least those our two teams they can get up for. But I expect for Rutgers to play much better than they did against smu. I've been impressed with ucf and Rutgers both. Should be two good ones.

Louisville has won the last two games buy a combined 6 points. In my heart of hearts I expect Louisville to win, but they are not beating Rutgers by 16 points. Louisville 38-31.

Vegas doesn't lose money, and the experts set the line where it is for a reason. I expect a very good game, but this isn't the same UofL team from last season, and most certainly isn't the same team from 2011. I would say Rutgers shouldn't be counting on previous seasons as the reason they can make it a game or win it, but I'm sure Flood and the team aren't doing that.

I expect a good game but I would be totally shocked if Rutgers scored 31.

UofL wins... by the spread or less. But a win is a win!

The spread on this game is a bit too high for my tastes. I was expect the line to open around 10 or so (TD plus 3 for home field advantage).

Yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean the experts actually believe Louisville is 17 points better than Rutgers. Rather, they think that a 17 point spread will generate an equal amount of money wagered on both teams, thus ensuring them a profit and minimal risk.

True. Although they don't usually post very large differences between the true line and where it is set. We're normally talking a few points.

The main hesitation for me with the line would be the health of Parker. Today we got the information I thought we would get, which is "Parker is day-to-day". I doubt he plays but this doesn't rule him out fully for Rutgers game planning.

RE: Louisville vs Rutgers predictions
Tomorrow's the big day. ESPN Classic will be showing a replay of the 2006 match up when Rutgers knocked Louisville out of title contention and were propelled into the title game discussion themselves. This game is also historic because it began the rise of Schiano and Ray Rice. It also brought Rutgers back to relevancy.

To people saying we are going to beat down Rutgers, I just don't see it. Rutgers is a solid team and will be a good test for our defense. I think the Cards win but it will go into the 4th qtr.

I am stunned that the Vegas line gas Louisville now as a 19 Point Favorite

That point spread is huge. There has to be some info we don't known or get. I have seen this as a game that would be fairly close.

We are not looking pass Rutgers, because Rutgers have all the horses, too. Rutgers may be a far better team than Central Florida. 07-coffee3

Our run defense is as good as it was last year. However our secondary while it shows flashes of brilliance at times. Is a very inconsistent, inexperienced group. Your playcalling has been very balanced, but like every other team will have to try and beat us through the air. The problem for us with that is you have Teddy Bridgewater. Kid is going to be the #1 pick. I overall expect a close game as both programs have a lot of talent and these games have usually been fun, close ones. Somehow I feel my boys in scarlet find a way to come out of PJCS with a W.

RE: Louisville vs Rutgers predictions
It depends on which Rutgers team shows up: the one that came back against Arkansas the second half or the one that almost totally collapsed in the second half against SMU last weekend….. The same for Louisville… If the team that struggled against Kentucky shows up, Rutgers could win this game…..
