Yes the calls were bad, but had we made a play on 4th and 10, we win that game on a first down and a couple of kneels.

Good luck the rest of the way, UCF.

No the refs gave them game. AAC refs are sh%tty. If this was the NFL that player would have been ejected, fined, and suspended for that hit. Not to mention phantom hold. I expected our Freshman qb to melt down in crunch time, not the refs. Only a blind man or UCF can say we didn't get screwed.

Was it the refs fault we didn't make on play on 4th and 10?

Also, you don't know jack about the NFL. Go find me the entry from the NFL rule book that states a player will be penalized for a helmet to helmet hit on a ball carrier.

Stop embarrassing our fan base.

lol really? They get ejected and fined for helmet to helmet hits.

Correct. That rule has been enforced in all division college football games this year, oh with the exception of games featuring the Memphis Tigers.

So I guess the ESPN announcers were just lying when they said the refs blew that call badly.

stop crying, you guys had the ball on our goalline with a chance to tie or win and your players blew it. Refs were pretty bad both ways including absolutely no pass INT calls in the first half when memphis DBs were hugging UCF WRs on every play. Goes both ways.

Well, today I learned that the 6 yard line can be called the goal line.

same difference. 3rd and goal from the 6 and you guys blew it. Chance to win the game was there, refs did not throw INT.

We also had a chance to win the game in 4th quarter with 2 minutes left and 3 timeouts but that never happened thanks to the refs. May Teddy Bridgewater have the game of his life against UCF.

Correct, nor did they drop 2 TD passes for us and the potential 3rd one. It happens with young players and we could have been in a position to win by 2-3 scores. We did not capitalize. I agree to that point.

However, If that Helmet on Helmet targeting had gotten called. I saw nothing from UCF (this game) that says we don't start at our 30 and drive the field on you for an easy FG. Bottom line is bad calls were made both ways. That one was worse then anything throughout the entire game. That play 100% gave you the win. The drive that tied it 17-17 gave you the tie and you guys earned that one. However, the TD to put you up 24-17 was one of the most garbage plays I have seen in several seasons.

I see where both sides are coming from. I was furious. However, I'm over it now, time to move on. UCF fans are not disrespecting us because they know what happened, they saw it, and no one is on here bragging or talking trash to us. Would I like to have that back or have the refs call a blatant obvious play? Yes. However we cannot get it back. That's the 2ND loss we should not have had. Without the refs there is a very good chance we're sitting at 3-1. Memphis has been so bad the last few seasons us Memphis fans see some life and then see that we're competing and getting screwed over. Of course there are going to be several fans highly upset.

I now believe we have a chance at a bowl game if we limit our mistakes.

Cincy and Houston could be winnable if we play great. I'm a realist so I do not think we'll beat Louisville. However I do think we'll be in the game and it won't be an embarrassing loss.

Keep your head up Tiger fans. 2 season ago UCF was rolling us what 42-0 at Halftime? Now we are in the game with them in basically 1 1/3 seasons under Fuente. The game was a good game and it sucks the way we lost but we have improved.

if ucf doesn't get jobbed on PI calls the whole first half maybe the game isn't even close enough to matter by 4th Q. Be happy playing above your heads and move along. Sound like a bunch of babies crying about refs.

You're right. We should have scored there at the end and sent it to overtime. But had the game been called fairly and not one sided on our home turf then we wouldn't have even been put into that situation to begin with. Stop being a homer. Except that you won the game because you had help from the blind (paid) men in striped shirts. Those guys are lucky that they got out of Memphis alive.

Refs didn't call the PI's both ways. UCF played a bad game and got bailed out at the end. Don't act like you or other UCF fans wouldn't be complaining if y'all got shafted like us.

again, calls were awful both ways. First half we had two drives killed by PI non calls. If those are called as they should have been (DB tackled WR before the ball was anywhere close) then UCF probably scores and is up 21-7 early. Completely different game from that point.

Point is, refs miss calls but usually they balance out over the course of the game. Memphis had a chance to win and blew it. Stop being such a baby about one play when it was clear refs were bad on both sides....espn announcers claimed as much if you were watching in the first half.
