All MAC fans knew that before the season started. As of 9/28/13, we now know that it's going to come down to NIU/BSU. Our season is over. I was so stoked to come see the Rockets destroy Western Michigan next week, the day after I relocate all my stuff back to Ohio. Now I wish I hadn't invited four other people to go to the game with me because unpacking my stuff would be a lot more meaningful. Rockets beating up on weak MAC teams is both unproductive and pretentious.
Ignorance.
Totally agree.

CAMPBELL.. Stay away if you wish.. your attitude is one of a spoiled child.
My thoughts from yesterday...
We were not prepared from a coaching or player stand point.
Play calling sequence was terrible.
Receivers need to get it in their heads they need to get the necessary yardage down field on 3rd down plays.
Scrap that lateral pass to Reedy.
TO needs to up the rate of play , no more ready to take the snap then flail, arms spread wide open, up to the line of scrimmage as if he is changing the play.( plays into the d's hands)
where was our pass rush?
BSU fans are very good fans but very quiet.
On the way home all I could think was to beat WMU then one by one win the rest of the games on our schedule.
It may not be good enough to obtain a MACC game, but it is what it is, with our guys playing the toughest schedule in school history.
Go Rockets

Deep Breath!
We're a long shot from the division champ. That I agree. That has more to do with the nature of the MAC. Getting the upsets we need is not likely. BUT, season isn't over. If you're proud of the Alma-mater, a Rocket game is always a good place to take friends, right?
Why do people go to games? There's always only going to be one Champ.

I too am depressed after the loss. Things do look bleak because we no longer control our own destiny. But, you never know what might happen. The team still needs our support. They can learn from their mistakes and need to continue to play hard until the final whistle. If they do this, good things can happen. Still plenty of FB left. Injuries could be a factor for other teams, you just never know...
We need to win out in MAC play, NIU needs to beat BSU, and BSU needs to lose one other game. BSU could lose to Kent, Akron, Central, you never know. Take a look at their schedule last year...they were challenged in almost every game they played, even against the mediocre MAC teams and Army.

Don't worry Campbell, a lot more people agree with you than you may realize...they just don't post here. This season, just like last years, will probably turn out to be a disappointing season even if we get to 8-9 wins because expectations are a lot higher than some may acknowledge on here.

Agreed. It is not ignorance. It is reality.
