After the weekend's games

Rushing D - #3
Red Zone D - #8
Overall - #24

I'll take it. Teams can pass all day on us, as long as they aren't scoring a lot.

FWIW - no rushing TD's allowed yet.

That's awesome! Especially considering that we played three no huddle passing teams. I really like our chances against Wyoming. They are probably the best offense we will face so far, but I'm confident that we will be able to at least slow them down. Now we have to figure out a way to score some points.

I had the opportunity to watch our game again on Sunday afternoon and felt much better about the game. Our defense had played lights out against Texas Tech. If Texas State had done a better job of ball handling in the redzone we would be celebrating a win. The offense did not look as bad when taking into account TCU only scored 10 on Texas Tech. Wyoming does not have a defense like Texas Tech. We have a chance on the Offensive side to make this game something special. Here is to hoping our D comes out pissed off and takes it out on the Cowboys this week.

Of course Tech has been similar problem with turnovers. The game could have been a win or a blowout. They went for it on fourth down twice in the red zone like us and didn't convert either. I don't think we deserved a win but the defense was huge and fun to watch.

are you attempting to be sarcastic?

It was a huge MISTAKE on my part. Last night on ESPN, the score came up with UTSA and UTEP and I was so sleepy I mistook usta for TXST. I want to apologize for having my head up my, well, you know what. No way was I making an attempt at sarcasm.

YOU mistook US for utsa... . . ut freakin' sa .. . mistook US for NutsaCK??? You SHOULD have your head up your, well, you know . . .

Bobcat87, please understand this old Jaguar didn't sleep much Friday night and was looking for scores late Saturday and barely saw the UTSA/UTEP score, thinking it was TXST with the winning score. Wasn't thinking about y'all playing TTU. The Bobcats are one of my favorite SBC teams, but I do want my Jags to pin their ears back when we come to town.

NP, Just yankin' yer chain a little . . . I took no "real" offense . . looking forward to our game later this year, all the best to y'all til then . . .

I was worried about the TXST game. You guys are easily the best new edition to the Belt. However, if you give Hud plenty of time to prepare for you, it's not going to be good for you guys. Also expect about 35,000 crazy fans pumping up the players. Best of luck this weekend. I really think you guys can pull the upset.

Want to add
Individual:
#1 in Forced Fumbles - LB Mike Orakpo
#6 in Passes Deflected - CB Xavier Daniels (not bad for a converted safety)

Team:
#3 in Turnover Margin
#8 in Turnovers gained
