Tony Scheffler was a great player here. He was here for a 1-10 season too. So yeah talk is cheap and winning is the goal but he should offer support not cheap shots because he's been through those kind of games too.

Good point. I might be thinking of someone else but didn't Scheffler have some problems with WMU after he graduated? Didn't he want to give money to WMU and WMU turned him away/never contacted him or something like that? I could be thinking of someone else

He's speaking from experience. He's seen this act almost to a "T" when he was in Denver and they hired McDaniels after firing Shanahan.

I must have missed that part of the tweet. It must have been very traumatic going from 8-8 in 2007 to 8-8 in 2008. Yep that must be it.

Well Captain Internet why don't you share your vast wealth of knowledge on the Denver Broncos and feel free to include some linkage of how his departure from Denver relates to him popping off to PJ Fleck via twitter because that would be very enlightening. I'm sure if we all had your deep background on Tony Scheffler's time in Denver we would benefit. Or are you just covering for the fact that you didn't know when he was traded? Probably...

I must have missed the part where I introduced the 2009 Denver Broncos as a topic of conversation said that losing to Nichols State matched it to a "T" and then refused to elaborate as to how. Could it be that you were just bulk posting affirmations of anyone who is anti-Fleck through even the thinnest justification possible without really having any insight to add?

You missed that you were sarcastic to my analogy of McDaniels and that Tony saw it firsthand, and when I asked you to back your lame attempt you have NOTHING?

You made a statement that you can't justify and were presented with evidence that you are full of **** in that he played one season for McDaniels with the same record they had the previous and this is what you come up with. A series of questions to me? You have no point. I think you were probably thinking he played for the Broncos in McDaniels disaster of a second season. He didn't. I think you were looking to shoehorn another criticism of Fleck in there by comparing him to a young failed coach even when it wasn't apt. I also think that losing to Nichols State is in no way analogous to anything that happened to Tony Scheffler in the NFL and that his tweet was inappropriate.
