I will say, I thought going into the game, that the first quarter would be the hardest quarter for us. They will have the most fire out of the gate, we stemmed the tide somewhat, we need a long drive of our own right here and we're doing a good job thus far. With that said, Harris is wrecking them for 4-5 yards a carry, need to keep that up.

not liking at all where this game is going. I had much more optimism for this season than this. Cant drop passes in the numbers, atleast play like we wanted to be here.

20-3 K-State right now. Failing in all aspects of the game right now. We will need a completely different team to show up to play the 2nd half to even make it competitive.

Cajuns threatening down by 17 in the 4th. Not likely, but atleast showing something finally. On K-States 3 yard line with 11 to go in the game, 3rd down. I'd have to imagine (even though we need 3 scores), we'd go for it on 4th because of how close we are. Need 7 right here to have a chance.

I hate this performance for sake of the belt, but I cant help but grin since Louisiana fans have been the most vocal about Southern having a "reality check" once they enter conference play next year. I know the transitive property doesn't work, especially across seasons, but I can;t help but look at our result against NDSU at home, NDSU's game vs KSU, and UL's game vs KSU and be optimistic about 2014. Looking at Samford-Arkansas and UL-Arkansas, I feel even better.
