Parking at UVa
Tell me about parking for football at UVa. Coming up to my first game there this weekend.

Is it expensive?

Can I park and walk and not have to pay?

Thanks for any info...

I usually park at U-Hall. Follow the crowd to the stadium from there. It was free.

John Paul Jones Arena is next door to U-Hall.

There is another big free lot at the Fontaine Research Center. Both lots have free parking and really good tailgating.

I agree...if everyone is in your party can walk for like a mile...park by the basketball arena. Lots of good tailgating sites over there. About 20 mins prior to kickoff just follow the sundresses.

As Mark pointed out, it is a long walk from U Hall, but it is not a bad walk. You can park for about $10.00 at the bookstore on Emmet St. if you get there early, and that means around 10:00am or so this week.

It's very convenient for stadium access. Just minutes to hit the East Gate on the walk, and no shortage of sundresses.
