RE: 2013 AAC Predictions
I would think anyone not taking Louisville is drinking too much of their schools Kool-Aid. Here goes my picks:

1.) Louisville - Pains me to pick them 1st.
2.) Cincy - Almost hurt as bad.
3.) UCF
4.) USF
5.) Houston
6.) SMU
7.) Memphis
8.)UConn
9.) Rutgers
10.) Temple

I truly believe after 3 you can throw all the teams in a bag and the teams with the least injuries and the most chemistry will end up on top.

Why can't UConn compete with those schools? Surely it's not talent. UConn had more talent than any other team in the conference last year, and more talent than any AAC team.

Are you saying UConn can't compete because of coaching?

Of course not, sir...I just look at the scoreboard a lot of the time.

still Rooting for ya'll but this game is a disaster, no matter if you win.

Granted they have been known to throw in some WTF seasons with their good ones but most of the time they are very solid. There aren't many teams that can flat out push them around which means you are going to have to work for what you get on offense and they are going to test your front 7 against the run all game long. Then they have a very solid QB with several athletic and quick WRs.

Not saying Louisville and Cincy aren't the top 2 but I wouldn't sleep on UCF. They get Rutgers, UConn, and USF at home where they are 10-2 over the last 2 seasons (Losses to Tulsa in 2011 and Missouri in 2012) and they don't have to play UC. It could come down to them having a good day in Louisville for them to win the whole thing. Or not, but I would give them a chance.

By the way I'm not hating on Louisville as a whole. Louisville is a very good team this year. UCF is an extremely underrated team right now (we'll see where the polls have them Monday) and both get crapped on by ESPN with their ulterior motives. In a different world ECU and Louisville would be conference mates next season but you guys moved on to the ACC and I'm happy for you Cardinals fans. I'm not the biggest Louisville fan based on some of the history between ECU and Louisville but I won't hold it against the fans and I certainly respect (even though I don't particularly like) your athletics program.

All that said I have HATED UCF for the past few years and I mean that in the most respectful way possible. If you guys weren't good and a thorn in ECU's side during your C-USA days I wouldn't give a rats arse about you.

Congrats to UCF on becoming the team to beat in year one of the AAC. I can't wait for ECU to play you next year. To be the best you have to beat the best, and UCF is the best team in AAC history. Enjoy it. 04-cheers

1. UCF
2. Louisville
3. Cincinnati
4. Rutgers
5. Houston
6. South Florida
7. SMU
8. Connecticut
9. Memphis
10. Temple

Tulsa I'd put in between Cincy and Rutgers
East Carolina I'd put between Tulsa and Rutgers
Tulane I'd put last.

Ha, boy those picks are looking bad right now, except for the top two spots.

Hey Chappy, I think you did pretty well on the AAC. Still a ways to go, so time will tell. Missed pretty badly on the CUSA though.
