No problem with the chivalry thing. Really don't care for "feminism" - I prefer men to be gentlemen and women to be ladies.

As someone who has lived all over this great country, I can assure you that the whole Southern Gentleman thing is a myth of the highest order. The same goes for Southern ladies or whatever self-aggrandizing moniker they have assigned themselves. There are just as many ladies and gentlemen and jerks everywhere else as there are in the South.

Where I come from this particular girl would be known as an idiot.
