Thanks for sharing, I didn't know that Pitt was a part of ESPN's first live game. I will be interested to see part two and three of the series when they talk about ratings.

It's impressive that Pitt is the 12th most broadcast team despite having a terrible cfb program throughout the 1990s.

I was surprised to see Georgia Tech on the list too and that there are more ACC teams than SEC on the list.

CBS picks the best SEC game(s) before ABC/ESPN gets a shot at them.

RE: Some Espn historical data
Today's segment was on Thursday night games:
http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releas...ks-part-2/

A lot of GT and VT in the stats:
"-Longest Streak: Virginia Tech holds the longest streak, playing at least one Thursday night game every season since 2002.

-Most Games: Virginia Tech leads all programs with 26 home and away games combined followed by Georgia Tech with 24; Texas A&M and West Virginia at 19 each; Miami (Fla.) and NC State with 18; Louisville and Pittsburgh at 17; BYU at 16; and Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas with 15."
