Doo was finally able to get rid of white helmets his last year ('74) for gold - but only because Central got maroon ones year before.

Now we're going BACK to white, at least some of the time?

I can understand Fleck wanting a new "look" his first year but having multiple combinations strikes me as unnecessary especially when fans-posters have been complaining about lack of money (salaries, recruiting).

At least we no longer resemble Idaho and a few others.

I think we have proven over the years that uniforms don't matter. Take from that what you will.

I like the new uniforms, but let's go ahead and officially make black one of the school colors. Onward for the brown, gold, and black.

I like the unis, not a huge fan of the number on one side of the helmet. I love the white helmet and brown helmet.

Black highlights, fine... changing school colors? No way!

A school in Ypsilanti changed their mascot a while back from something original to something rather generic... I hear that worked out well for them.

We used to be called the Hilltoppers, so if you want to be real original, lets change our name too. Nothing wrong with progress. To say that black is an accent color in our uniform scheme would be incredibly naïve. Black has been the dominant color in our schools uniforms since 1998. Sixteen years makes it more than just a fad.

Makes it time to go back and honor the real school colors, that's what that makes it. Waldo called it, we should embrace it and not treat it as a video game.
