It should be the first thing we all do every morning. Takes about 30 seconds.

My guess is that Andrea Adelson will not come within 1000 feet of the blog.

I found it to be really low class that she did not have the decency to foreward people or at least say farewell. Of course, maybe she did not know and it was sprung to her on a Monday morning that she would no longer doing the AAC blog, but I doubt it.

Everyone should immediately add to their bookmarks. It is imperative that we get early traffic to the blog, exposure is all we have right now and fans must make the best out of the situation.

But that's a good thing - right? On another note --- if any of us expect to see an AAC blog at ESPN after this BCS season, I would think some strong interest this year will have to be shown. It's just too easy for ESPN to throw the AAC back in with the G5 post-BCS.

We were showing strong interest before they took it away. I was there everyday. I won't be going back at all now that we don't have a blogger and aren't shown on the homepage with the "P5" conferences. I also don't like that Facebook took over the comments. Most of the people that posted on ESPN are now posting on the BCSNN AAC blog.

Do you think anyone in America cares about the ESPN AAC blog? Only AAC fans. If ESPN would take our blog seriously then I might do the same. Its a shell of what it was before. Enjoy your scraps.

I go to the BCSNN blog because it a great group of commenters from all the AAC schools. I don't care if the country knows about it.

No, its perception. When someone from other conferences sees our blog among the P5 ones, they start to associate it with them in their brain involuntarily. Much better than being grouped with g5.

Ya, I don't think you understand how this all works. Clicks on espn = more coverage or better said more coverage that actually matter in regards to recruiting, ratings, tv contracts, bowl negotitaitons etc. Jeez.

Yep the one thing I'll give Aresco credit for is publicly he's made it a point to talk about how we compare with the P5 and downplay as much as possible comparisons to the rest of the G5. There's a short window to use the momentum of keeping the AQ bid for 1 year and some of the other advantages we have and long term getting closer to the P5 than the G5. If we fail in the short term this league will be stuck with the lower group permanently.

Did you read this thread, they are making changes. Even if its not there, that's not the point, in fact, if it is not on the main page than it's even more reason why additional page views matter as that forces them to adjust. Good lord.
