Considering how poorly USF has under performed the last two years and several marks going into the season I am satisfied with USF's predicted finish. The USF-UCF game is shaping up to be a monster end of the year game based on these predictions as a quality bowl game will likely be on the line.

IMO, I think SMU is ranked too low as is UCONN.

This will give UCF the motivation they need in the pre-season. I was afraid that they may have gotten too high on themselves.

....USF has always handled pre-season expectations, very-well.

Seems good to me.

Can't argue with the rankings nor can I argue with Louisville getting all but two of the first place votes since this is still just preseason. I do think 'some' people will be a little surprised when Memphis isn't horrible.

Unless Memphis has an awful season, but if they have a good one they wont finish last.

No surprises. It will be interesting to look back in December and see how it all shakes out. UofL better enjoy this season as next year will be radically different.

I plan to enjoy both. This year will almost certainly be Bridgewater's and several others last year in a Cardinal uniform and I think UofL will have a great team. I'm looking forward to games against UC, UCF, Rutgers, and UConn and I'm hopefully that UofL can repeat as conference champs and head to another BCS bowl.

I'm also looking forward to next year. Having FSU, Clemson, and Notre Dame on the schedule will be great from a fan's perspective and I can't wait to start playing ACC opponents year in and year out. UofL might have a harder time competing, but I look forward to the challenge.

Well, the good news for Memphis fans is that we are GUARANTEED to meet or exceed expectations, lol.

I'm probably partial to teams I see more, but I would have put USF 4 and UConn 6 if it were me, but otherwise the pre-season rankings look legit. For all of our sakes, present and the future, we need an SEC style finish were the champ finished undefeated, 2nd place only loses to the champion, and third place only loses to first and second. That gets three teams ranked to finish the year, with two top ten teams going into the last week.
